On July 21, 2013, Sheldon Baptist Church Baptized 28
On Sunday July 21, 2013, members and friends of Sheldon baptist church gathered on the banks of a pond to baptize new believers in Christ.
There were 28 candidates for pulbic baptism so the gathering was large.
There was preaching by Pastor Jerod Lamb...
and songs of praise to God led by a worship team.
Prayer was also included in the day.
Pastor Lamb baptized young believers....
and not so young believers. Men and...
women were baptized.
Pastor Lamb even baptized a husband and wife together with the help of an associate pastor.
People waited in line to be baptized.
This woman has victory in Jesus.
The day was bitter sweet for Pastor Lamb; this would have been his daughter Hannah's 9th birthday. He wore a t-shirt in her memory.
This woman's t-shirt says it all - "Jesus Loves Me."
